There's a prequel comic where the green and blue goblin are wandering through the woods when they see the white bat-nosed goblin in the tree. After debating if goblins are supposed to be cute, the conclusion being no, they bring the white goblin with them. Basically they found the white goblin in the wild who therefore has no clothes.
