Excited for what they do with the inevitable remake. I think Sheva could be made into a very cool and compelling character if she's simply written better. Imo, shift the roles and make her the main, Chris the secondary, or have it just focus on her (I feel like it would be incomplete without having the co-op options though, so i don't think they'd do that).
A Sheva only game would be great. But there's still the baggage of the game being set in Africa and depicting the africans as savages though.
Sheva's bonus costume being a tribal bikini and warpaint on here face totally is NOT a racist air horn dog whistle of the Jezebel trope in fucking 2009.
Obviously this isn't true and RE5 is sus as hell but it is wild when the village looks like it's from the 13th century and you fight the soldiers at the end and they all have crossbows and maces and shit lmao (still less lame than Resident Evil 5/6 enemies firing assault rifles at you though)
4 had you fighting mercs turned Ganados at the end but 5 went nutty with it and made them have guns.
Yeah, I remember the minigun guys both for their ridiculousness and for how easy they were to stun lock in co-op
