      Thanks, it should be

Caught the problem early enough so complications should be minimal

Also, yes, I was lucky enough that they prescribed me some percocet

I apologize in advance if I get weird

The story begins two weeks ago when I ended up in the ER when a gallstone apparently got lodged in my bile duct

Second worst pain I ever felt, first being a kidney stone and third being the time I got shot with a crossbow

But anyway, after some emesis and heavy drugging, they got me scanned and saw my gallbladder was chock full o' stones

Jump ahead two weeks, that fucker is out of me

That sounds generally unpleasant and I wish you a speedy recovery! My mum had her gallbladder removed due to cancer in the small intestine (she’s fine, hardly any complications at all, for intestinal cancer at least), thus the additional curiosity.

          Thank you very much

My mom had to get hers removed as well, but i was lucky enough to have it done laproscopically

She had to get it done the old-fashioned way

The doctor was telling me that the gallbladder was basically vestigial and enjoyed me asking him if that meant he'd take my appendix and coccyx too
