Red Dead Redemption is coming to PS4 and Switch next week

A surprise announcement by Rockstar just revealed that Red Dead Redemption is finally coming to the PS4 and Switch — and it looks great.

(But not Xbox for some weird reason)

    this kinda sucks? no native ps5 port, no multiplayer, and they are asking for fifty bucks for NOT a remake, not even an HD remaster, just the same game updated to run on newer hardware. that price point is too steep for what they are giving you imo

    Not Xbox

    The game is already backwards compatible with current Xboxes

    They apparently decided to just sell the game again for consoles without backwards compatibility🙃

      Maybe some day...

      Though after the debacle that was the GTA Definitive Editions, maybe it's good they didn't.

      It can still be played on the PS5, though I think everyone would've preferred at least a current-gen remaster.
