      Thabk you for your response. I'm honestly on the fence. To me the the p acts a little like a softener or diminutive. "There's some poo on the ground/There's some poop on the ground" in my mind there's less, or smaller 'poop' in the latter. So less matter at same stink ratio would mean the poop is less stinky. So if poop = small poo all else being equal, then I disagree. However if poop is de facto stinkier then yeah that works.

      Goop on the other hand (please wash hands after) to me brings to mind the image of dripping goo going 'plop', like a quasi-onomatopaeic goo with a bit of a journey (goo can just flow, maybe even plop, but goop definitely is more droopy imo.). So in this case as well I'm leaning to goo being more sticky, with goop being more clumpy/bouncy.
