It just has the same dark fantasy aesthetics IMO as those two games, no it doesn't look exactly like them, but It skews closer to those titles than the original demon souls. Which Is fine with me, but I'm not knocking you for not liking it.
Just for me personally it was the reason I bought a PS5 and was a 9.5 game for me.
