Lies of P is pretty good. I find it more difficult in general than the official product line but only really because the basic enemies and elites are more difficult. The bosses are similar in difficulty to elden ring.

There's Another Crab's Treasure that people have been calling crab souls. I havent played it, definitely much more lighthearted than typical souls games.

Italy Souls (Enotria) is coming out in September. I'll probably give it a shot when it does. Black Myth: Wukong is coming out in August, it also looks really fun.

Is dead cells on ps5?

Nioh 1 and 2 should be on it (or maybe backwards compatible with PS4?), don't know if they're what you'd consider "lesser known", though.

Is Code Vein soulslike?

Hellpoint is on PS5 I think, or PS4 at least. It's basic but it's kinda' nice too. Combat is basic but the lore and the world design and the impressively large map are cool.

Lies of p is the best soulslike not made by fromsoft.

Mortal shell is kinda cool, but I never got the hang of using the shell part of combat. I made it to the final boss and gave up.
