fell to my knees when I went to the artist's site immediately after finding the OP to purchase a print of it...only to discover they don't ship outside of Japan and that someone else asked them if they ever would 2 years ago & they said no......

There are companies in Japan that will ship you shit from other companies that don't ship to customers abroad.

          I've used two, myself:

          • I used White Rabbit Express (apparently now called Japan Rabbit) a few times and was very satisfied with the experience. I think they may be on the pricier side, especially if you're buying from certain site, but I got everything I asked for in good condition and in good time and all the communication was in fluent English.

          • I also used Big in Japan's proxy service for something I couldn't get on White Rabbit Express. I think it's a smaller outfit, so things are less slick/automated (instead of adding things to a cart you send them an email with all the listings and the cost), but their fees are also lower (flat fee up to ¥20,000 and then percentage based after that) so depending on the situation they may be preferable. Also zero complaints about their service.
