Maybe start with the Dr Pecker cans since they can be recycled, put them in that plastic bag by the chair and bring them to the store on your way out. Then it's at least that much less messy. Sometimes it can help to tie one new dreadful action with another you can't avoid. At least if anything it looks better than the other picture.
