I'm gonna be honest, I never actually looked up who Don Cheadle was in the lyrics I'm parodying here (ERB John Lennon vs Bill O'Reilly). Apparently Don Cheadle is a famous and highly acclaimed Black American actor, and the line "heart blacker than Don Cheadle" was supposed to be a pun on his race. Looking into the guy's filmography, apparently the only film of his that I ever saw was Hotel for Dogs when I was a little kid. I wonder if I'd be more familiar with his name if I lived in the Occupation Zone.
