Sorry to dissapoint you. Here's my pork belly sandwich recipe:

    • braise pork belly for about 4 hours in plum wine, soy sauce, ginger, peppercorns, brown sugar, and the white part of green onions. Add five spice if you have, if you don't make do with what you have that's similar. It's a very loose recipe. (don't forget msg!)
    • pickle thinly sliced carrots in a mix of water, rice wine vinegar, white vinegar, and sugar
    • throw it all on a baguette and try not to think too much about how much sodium you just had

  • I get headaches super frequently and they usually mean:

    I ate the wrong food

I am more stressed than my body can take

I am having a very long panic attack

    I am dehydrated

    I am under caffinated

    I am having a migrane

They rarely get so bad that I can't sleep but when they do there's a good chance I'm gonna have sleep paralysis that same night

  • Like neo-pronouns? They're created from the use of non-gender specific letters and syntax. Most people I know just choose they/them because it's already in a lot of people's vocabulary. Xe/Xim and Vim/Ver are two that I've heard often enough, but I'm not sure where they come from exactly

If we really want to build an entirely leftist space here that means we have to be firm. It takes two seconds to show a little solidarity and the fact that some people are pushing back even against something as simple as that really makes me wonder how invested some people on this site are toward actually following through with what they believe in

Y'know I don't think that you have to explain it to your family. You can do your best to discuss workplace democracy, or talk in baby steps of how to achieve class unity, but ultimately you only have so much energy each day and you shouldn't give yourself the burden of changing the minds of people who don't want to change. Use that energy for real praxis

  • Hey so like listen i'm a lil wasted rn but I'm 22, I don;t have my life together at all, and I only just now reached a point in my life where I had a group of friends I regularly talk to without having to see each other in some schedule decided by an alleged higher power. It's the luck of the draw, and you've had a bad run of it. Shit happens. Stick to actively working to help yourself, practice a lil good thought toward yourself, be GOOD to yourself. Once you're standing on your own two feet just continue to do your best, it's all you can do. You'll eventually find people you can rely on. Remember, the revolution will be easier with people who support each other comrade o7 And we're here to support each other
