If you want a proper Black review of this beef, you need to go to a proper Black essayist. Todd.

i think if you've followed kendrick, and especially as touched on in the FD video around The Pop Out - he is saying that, like he did a whole concert where at the end he brought on folks regardless of affiliation, stopped the whole show and talked about how it's deeper than hiphop, and it's about uniting and building community and that that's the way he can see forward. I really think that's the headspace he's in now, where he's realised his strength is him being of the people and you see it in the Not Like Us video too

I do too, but I also have the same exact concerns about Kendrick too. I hope he continues down the community building path

And who are you to comment on a Black man working through his bullshit again and addressing HIS CULTURE? Don't do this. Don't get into this shit like you weren't acting a fuckin fool with me yesterday. You know your opinions on Black matters aren't wanted where I'm concerned.

Like, if I didn't know how prone to tryna talk over Black folk that you've presented yourself to be, I'd snidely ask if you think you have all the answers but clearly, you do; and I'm not tryna do that shit with you tonight. Don't fuck up the wave, take your bullshit elsewhere.

Of course, what I said was outdated and it looks like he’s probably doing fine, so I guess it’s moot.

That's the fucking problem! You run your mouth knowing fuckall about the cultures you critique! STAY IN YOUR GODDAMN LANE!

Christ on a goddamn stick, if there's one thing I hate more than a cracker it's a cracker that doesn't know when to shut their paternalistic, I-know-what's-best-assed hole-- you are literally more insufferable to me than the last peckerwood that couldn't control his wind on wholly Black matters. 420blazeit or whatever the fuck his name was.
