It runs pretty well on wine and proton for me! i5 2500k and 2070super using Heroic Games Launcher and linux Mint. 10 or so hours played and maybe 2 ctd’s is all

Nice, hate to ask but doesn't the 2070 super bottleneck the 2500k?

Also based mintchads assemble! (although I'm thinking about switching to Debian btw)

I’m sure it does, I built this computer back in 2011 (probably actually closer to 2013 thinking about it) with a 980, a few years back the 980 died and I replaced it with whatever I could get, ended up being a 2070super. Hopefully it’ll keep limping along, I’d like to get a new mobo/cpu going at some point

I love how simple and reliable mint is, but I’ve been playing around with arch to branch out, I’ll have to check out debian!

The 980 was only released in 2014 though.

What is time, lol, drugs fried my brains. Checked my newegg account, late 2014-early 2015 I bought the various components.

Been playing for about 20 hours on wine 8.1 + dxvk 2.2

You just have to use the --skip-launcher option to avoid the atrocious Larian launcher

Got two crashes in that time (one from the game, one kernelspace nvidia driver crash), but otherwise it's extremely fluid on ultra quality on a 1070ti (no lag at all). It's fucking awesome.
