So for once they can just say the really obvious. Jesus it's so depressing that they couldn't do this in any of the last two election against Trump.

Hillary didn’t lose in 2016 because she’s a pedophile, she lost because she’s a shitty neoliberal who no one liked. And the dems still haven’t been able to hit upon the real ultimate strategy of not running a candidate far to the right of the electorate they’re ostensibly trying to court.

Yea I mean the states she lost she didn’t campaign in and the voters she lost were the rust belt victims of NAFTA. I don’t think anyone really “normal” knew the Epstein stuff yet.

I really don't think the Epstein stuff matters all that much. Hillary's unpopularity had nothing to do with it, Trump and Biden's unpopularity have nothing to do with it. Vote blue no matter who folks were set to vote Biden anyway, and the people saying they weren't voting for him were doing so because of the genocide or other reasons related to policy. Everyone on the right who says they care about it also supports Trump so clearly they don't care that much.

haha yeah I know, but the fact remains that one of the most popular politicians of the last two decades got there not through whatever rhetorical strategy aimed at the youth, but through actually having popular policies. Every election the dems jump through so many hoops just to seem "cool" and "with it" and they still can't match the energy an old white dude with little understanding of youth culture was able to drum up. The only reason it's working this year is because Trump is so deeply disliked, and because there's no real left opposition

If you're referring to Bernie, I had an "oh shit!" moment in 2016 when I realized he was "that guy" I'd always see in random documentaries where they'd have some segment on Congress and how they relate to the topic of the documentary. He was always on the "right" (morally correct) side of the argument, that's when I knew he was good stuff lol
