Just Beanis is stuck in my head because some stupid fuck (with love) got it stuck in my brain this morning and now I’m binging Michael Jackson songs. I was too young when these allegations and since then I’ve read all kinds of things about his life, and I would like to know what you guys think is and isn’t real. I read bits about his troubled childhood, his humanity, and his apparent dark side. To me this man is a fucking titan of music.

Regarding the allegations I’ve read everything from him being a prolific pedophile to being a deeply caring and misunderstood man who wanted to help kids. Was this just a homophobic, racist hitjob?

    From what I gather, it’s highly likely he was molesting kids at neverland, but that the kids of the people who brought the lawsuits against Jackson weren’t among those molested. They were being opportunistic and figured the general evidence would be enough to establish their kids were victims. Probably why the lawsuits failed.

    While I’m certainly not absolving Jackson of personal responsibility, it also seems likely that this behavior was a result of his abusive and exploited childhood.

      Like you said, the more prolific cases seem to be opportunistic, but having a bunch of kids unrelated to you over at your house is indicative of something.

        An opportunistic person could similarly turn a blind eye to what this super rich dude is doing with their kids to reap personal dividends and then decide to cash in again with a maybe genuine lawsuit or at least if their complicity was in play it would be.
