Elbaf here we come!
What did you think of this week's chapter?
No break next week!
Nothing super great this week, but hey, that was a short arc at, what, 60 chapters? Still don't think Oda's anywhere near ending it by the mentioned target of 2025 lol.
I feel like there will be breathing chapters in between. Saturn's still there. I don't know how elders and navy will cover the bungled attempt to kill the whistleblower.
Unless the next chapter itself is starting at elbaf which is unlikely.
I feel like this chapter would've been a little punchier without the multiple breaks in the action right at the end.
I wonder if Elbaf is going to be similarly short so we can get right into the final arc? I hope not since there's a lot of major stuff going on there to be explored, but Wano length would be maybe too much.
Whew! Egghead was such a wild ride!
Gonna be fun to go back to reread this arc. The amount of lore and plot stuff packed in between the plot and action is massive and it was done in way less time that Wano which was refreshing. The characters were also good, I think Vegapunk's complexity is one of Oda's best and it'll be interesting to see where Lilith and York go as the last two survivors.
Yeah rereading will be nice. The whole vegapunk-saturn-kuma development is the center piece and was very well done.
That last page god damn.
So will we see overall reaction to how this ends. Are people gonna find out punk died and strawhats pretty much wiped the navy again.
So is the mother flame still accessible to the elders or imu.
Anyway this arc was incredible.
The reaction will be interesting, most likely going to be the WG pinning Vegapunk's murder on Luffy, but will people believe that after the broadcast?
I guess navy only would. I don't know about broader reactions. Maybe this would be luffy's version of gold roger notoriety.
