I know we keep having similar discussions but I really have noticed just how much “framing” goes on in politics, both left and right (but moreso on the right between liberals and conservatives. Materialism thankfully seems to be a good barrier from this thinking).
It’s like too many people gave up on actually addressing and solving problems but having different ways of going about it, and moreso all about crafting a good story. It’s like with Kamala Harris and emphasizing “storytelling” as discussed here on LinkedIn and in this New Yorker article all the way back in her 2020 run.
They've so thoroughly given up on the dire state of their material conditions that all they can even visualize is fighting and maybe winning culture wars.
