when I learned they have that their incredible defenses to protect their nests from bears, I understood their behavior better
still hate and fear them, but it makes sense that the weapons required to defend themselves from huge, ravenous creatures covered in thick fur and layers of fat would be overkill against the thin-skinned, (relatively) hairless beings haplessly passing by
Yeah I've been using neem oil and soap, quite effective but there's so god damn many. I think I'm winning though.
Haven't killed a yellow jacket. They're secondary pollinators too, iirc. When they wander into my home, I cup em and let em outside.
