@Frank@hexbear.net https://hexbear.net/comment/3728216 wants the video of a Ukrainian nazi leader bragging about Zelenksy being great cover for them. I can think of a hundred times I shied away from making an argument I didn't have confidence I could find reference material for. We should have a 'first place to look'.

It would also be good SEO for our search function

      You're probably right...

But to expand a bit, I was picturing a more regimented organization system. There wold only be one post per subject and then each top level comment would be an attribute. Less of the content itself and more of a metadata receptacle that directs you to that content.

For instance one comment could be headed "Western sources talking about Ukrainian Nazis before the war"

I mean, you can still make posts that way in c/effort...

but I guess I can see some value in putting them all in one place to peruse (search works pretty well now though so I don't think its critical as long as you just name the titles something consistent and searchable like "LINK DUMP: ). Even so, it might be an easier argument to make in favor of the comm if there was already actually valuable content to put there, or a strong commitment to do so and maintain it, not just an idea of "what if someone were to organize this info, that would be nice"

Also, if the content is not just posts but actual sources, then it may be more appropriate to contribute to our comrades over at prolewiki! But for arguing's sake I can see how directly linking hexbear posts would be easier in some ways too.
