      Between the two, I'm able to understand what Carti says more. Pearl Jam vocals sound like an angsty meatwad.

          I also hate Pearl Jam. So many people around me love them and I don't fucking get it. It feels like a giant prank on me to try to get me to understand something horrible. There are a lot of albums I've listened to that didn't click on first listen, but I immensely enjoyed as I listened over time. Pearl Jam has never had that affect on me. The one song I know I like is "Black" by the band, I think it's quite a good song. But for the most part, they flop for me everytime

        Eddie Vedder always sounded like he was singing those songs for 20 years and had kinda sanded all the identifiable words out of the vocals, but he hadn't been. He was 26 when Ten came out. Where did he pick up that delivery?
