TFW you're halfway through converting and painting a miniature when its rules are removed from the game boohoo. Oh well, now it's a tech priest proxy.

It has parts from 5 minis, bonus points to anyone who can guess them.

At one point I wanted to make a Jokaero vehicle. It would naturally just be the leftover sprues glued together. Lore friendly and made form certified Games Workshop materials.

I think I see an HK missile from the vehicle kit, a cadian voxcaster, and a necron gauss rifle?

What was this originally gonna be? Did AdMech have an actual cyber crab unit?

I still can't use my nobz on cyboars 😞

Cadian voxcaster is one of them! Cut it in half and glued the back sides together. But no HK, no gauss. As a bonus clue, two other parts are from GW kits, and two parts aren't (not counting the crab).

It was going to be a Jokaero (hence the orange) because as much as I like the funny monkey I'm not going to spend $20 on one finecast model, but they were banished to legends (and also got huge nerfs at the same time) 😔 I have like 600 points of assassins and inquisitorial weirdos and James Workshop refuses to let me play with my toys.

Kill Team is getting Inquisition retinues as an option that can take a variety of henchmen. I think there's also a new codex coming out that will be more like the 3.5 Inquisition books, letting you mix and match.

I basically had my Feral Orks and manlet marines squatted cri

Probably need to get an INQ28 group going lmao

They're already out and I have one, lol. It's not a very good kit, though. You get five acolytes, a servitor, and a servo-skull token, but the team you'd play needs ten so you'd have to buy the kit twice. I'm just glad I got it recasted (plus I got two kasrkin teams at the same time and they fucking SLAP).

I think there's also a new codex coming out that will be more like the 3.5 Inquisition books, letting you mix and match.

If you're talking about the imperial agents codex for 40k, it's out and probably the worst one they've ever released. The henchmen are T3, 1W, BS3+ with one bolt pistol each (one can take a plasma pistol and another can take an eviscerator), lost an option to take an agent that could deny deep strikes within 12", and cost nearly twice as much as guardsmen. Jokaero went to legends, cost 20 points more, can only join henchmen if there's already an inquisitor leading them, and their buff got worse ("+1 to wound" changed to "6s to hit auto-wound").

Also Deathwatch got squatted except for a character (plus a named version of the same character), one infantry choice, and a flyer.

RIP to the like 5 AOS armies that got squatted because of some internal power struggle bullshit. It is BLEAK out here.

Yeah I haven't played 40k since early 7th. Mostly been looking into alternative wargames or sticking with WHFB. They squatted everything pretty hard after the End Times fiasco, but I never re-based any of my models, so the joke's on them.

I really feel bad for anyone who had a Beastman army and now has to redo everything, including bases. Like make up your mind GW lol
