You can always tell that someone is a dirty, filthy lib that should get the wall if they use unemployment as a slur.

There's also the fact that if Ethan really wants to throw around the employment card, one could easily point out that he's a podcaster/youtuber, i.e. not a real job.

I mean, you can make it a real job if you do topics that need research, but I don't think Ethan is. He's basically Keemstar 2.

This is true, but the kind of person who trots out "unemployed" as an own also usually deride the kind of work Ethan does.

I swear half of those arguments are "well, if you like communism so much; why don't you engage in communalism?"

I can explain this strawmaning. Marxists does not employ individual choice nor rigid list of do and don't that does not account for the local material condition. Supermarket and grocery shopping are practices that are acceptable under Socialism, and Marxists will support trades until the economy progress to the stage where those market practices become irrelevant. It is unlike the victim blaming ideology of the Capitalists that blames Communist takeover and paranoia fear for scary red conspiracies on the laziness of the alleged "victims of Communism".

Although certain industries remained reserves for skilled white labor such as trucking, [Fascist] firms increasingly looked to African workers to provide lowcost, if not free, labor for their enterprises. A 1940 survey reports that about 750,000 Africans were employed in construction, roadbuilding, and agriculture. More were recruited into the military and private businesses as well. Podestà estimates that over 1 million Africans were employed in the [Fascist] colonial machine, about 10% of the African population.¹⁷⁰

Forced, unpaid African labor became an important source of financing for [Italy’s] fascist imperial régime.

We return to our hentai dating sims and diet mountain dew because we are unemployed, not like Ethan Klein the podcaster, who as we all know has the most difficult job in the world. He doesn't have time to drink diet mountain dew.

His criticisms sound like heavy projection about his own lifestyle and mindset. Like it's such a specific thing to invent, he's probably the one buying 5 pound jugs of cheese puffs, ya know. And like, he calls people lazy, but made a living off of reacting to stuff other people do lol. I don't hate on people inherently for doing that, I understand people going for whatever they can find to make a living under capitalism, but if we're ranking things in terms of effort and hardship, it's not exactly near the top.

      the laziest

I have about 1-2 days of evening free a week, the rest is spent working out (5 times a week), working with two of the unions I am a part of (renters and labour union) and I also jam with people (music) I am writing a book and I am in a chess tournament currently.

      unemployed

Been working full time for 15+ years without a break.

      softest

Real, my heart for the working class is the softest.

      losers

I have spent time socializing with rich people. Do you have any idea how infantalized rich people are?

Like, back in the day I was hanging out with a rich person, they where early 20s, never had to work a day in there entire life and had 5+ million in there personal bank account. Rich parents, buisness owners.

They would come and hangout with me, they didnt know how to cook, clean, didnt know anything interesting culturally; all they had where stories about crashing there parents yacht off the gulf of mexico or buying weed from the pool boy and them insisting that they keep his name secret so the cartel dont kill him.

I just got the impression they where completely detatched from the human expeirence entirely, I almost feel sorry for them for how alienated they are; they genuinally couldnt do any basic household tasks. Its what happens when 'I have a person to do this for me'

          Even with dating, they found the idea ridiculous that the other half wouldnt already both;

          1. be rich
          2. either pay or do all household tasks for them

They live there entire lives in this weird micro-climate where money is replaced with action and they just....do nothing.

I think its where this type of projection from Ethan comes from, part of them knows its wrong.
