    Yeah so

    • you wheel the old experienced person out to boost morale and get a couple of articles written about how the company is in safe hands
    • you gut the company (layoffs) and don't purchase new stock, invest in new product lines etc. to artificially boost profitability
    • you dump the old CEO, dump the stock and try and sell it off whole or in parts

    Bonus points for Nike's decline coming from taking McKinsey's advice in the first place - here they are jagoff just before Nike publicly started doing really poorly
