So I know we aren't supposed to PPB other instances and I agree with that. However, some of these LIBs really, really, really need a fear of hexbear-shining. Also can someone restate the PPB policy?

I think realistically, the people getting dunked on usually just double down. So, they're rarely the audience that needs consideration. The problem is wyling too much drives away the silent onlookers, who might be sympathetic to the message, but can't understand what a pig with shit on it's testicles means.

    Just an outsider perspective.

PPB should probably be limited to only on hexbear, and only if the thread has gotten multiple layers deep.

PPB should probably be reserved for folks arguing in bad faith, but there are so many libs out there that are really fucking sure themselves to the point it may as well be bad faith. So idk.

We too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than theirs, and our Button works!

Yes but the "anarchists are fascists" guy really deserved the full bombs away treatment. There was no convincing him and his points were obviously wrong.

Yeah I mean he sucks, but I really don't think ppb has the effect a lot of people here think it does, especially when it's being spammed all the time in all the dunk threads. A much more effective tactic is to laugh and belittle their idiotic ideas. PPB can often come off like they really got to you, but never let them see you sweat.

Anything running at 0.3 MetaFlight Equivalents (MFEs) or above justifies a PPB, but anything 1+ is better served by burning the servers to the ground and starting a new instance.

It's less the take and more the tone. If someone politely disagrees about something reasonable, that's one thing. But if someone's openly hostile you should fire away.

Of course, if they're politely being bigoted or transphobic, you should immediately escalate.
