I'm not even sure the terms "left wing" and "right wing" would have been in common parlance during her life.

Left and right didn't refer to specific political ideologies until at least the late 19th century. Before then the terms referred to seating arrangements in a parliament.
In Shelley's time the terms would have been something more like colors, like red/white, or reference to specific movements like Republicans or jacobins
