In an arc of villages south of Pokrovsk, including Vuhledar, battlefields that have been stagnant for two and a half years are showing more movement than ever — in Russia’s favor.
I still remember telling people when this war broke out that it wasn't going to go well for Ukraine
They pointed to the early strife and went "Ha! These foolish Russians can't take over a whole country in a month, epic Ukrainian victory is assured!"
Meanwhile, I bit my tongue because I knew they wouldn't accept the fact that the early Ukrainian strategy was going to drain them over the long term
USAans are so divorced from the reality of actual warfare, they don't understand logistics, they don't understand maintaining an actual fighting force, they just don't understand that you don't just win by blowing up a whole lot of stuff real fast
I can't count the number of times libs called me and idiot, told me I had no clue what I was talking about, that I was a troll, bot, shill, etc. Absolutely hilarious to read what I've been saying for the past two years plastered on the front pages of the mainstream western media today.
Even that understates the disparity. Ukraine certainly doesn't have 38 million now anymore and i highly doubt they had that much in February 2022 either. Their last census was over twenty years ago IIRC.

So of course, they're mighty quiet this year

the libs are awfully silent about this
Fuck em dude, all you needed to be able to do to know that Ukraine didn’t have a chance is that 144 million is greater than 38 million.

Ok
apparently that's too complex of a math problem for most people in the west
go look at r/europe threads on this war to see some unreconstructed idiocy. they're still posting like it's 2022. fully huffed on NAFO juice.
