          MNs like, second largest city is on lake superior, has the worlds farthest inland seaport, and like everyone in that state goes to the north shore for vacation. plus lakes in general are like their whole identity. I have no defense for ohio tho

      the great lakes are objectively just part of the midwest, and i refuse to accept kansas as part of the midwest. missouri is closer, but still definitely not midwest
