I really like random D20 tables of little character details and flavour accents - it only takes a couple of small details to make a character feel unique.
(Just so people know, I'm traveling from Friday to Monday, so no more comics from me until I get back.)
Our party did fight a medusa one time (a custom one though, with spellcasting, multiple forms, backup monsters, and a thousand HP)
She had a magical feather flapper dress that shifts and moves in an alluring way to show off your best features. It "gives you advantage on any charisma based checks that rely on your appearance"
She also had a large metal mask with animated medusa-like snakes, that you can use to make gaze attacks with.
Konsi now owns both of these.
My first reflex upon seeing that last panel was imagining a girl group all going "GIRL MAKEOVER TIME!" before leading her to get a new haircut and random other places for clothes, earrings, necklaces and such, all in the spirit of getting her a flashy new look.
She needs like a whole bottle of shampoo.
Or some creative prestidigitation.
If we introduced her to shampoo, we would no longer be able to fit her hair through doorways
