Gathering a few comrades this afternoon to carve pumpkins, and starting tomorrow going thru the end of the week, I'm running sessions for my band to record a bunch of songs for a few different releases. Gonna do 2x guitar and bass tracking while the drummer is on tour with another project, then they'll do drums and noise/synth when they're back. Tons of new gear to play with including an Echoplex preamp, and this week I'm hopefully snagging a 150w Randy Rhodes modded plexi clone to go with a new 4x12 someone is wiring up.

Going apple picking this week. It's gotten so expensive, though. It costs significantly more than buying them in the store. I guess it's because it's more of a tourist activity than a way to buy apples. Still, I like having some hot cider and seeing the fall sights with my partner

Looking mostly at low watt tube heads, I already have a Marshall mini stack that I wanna upgrade from but keeping the cabs for a better head is cheaper than a new combo. Leaning towards the Joyo Bantamp zoMBie-II, it's a little lunchbox head Mesa-Boogie Dual Rec clone with some neat features for a bedroom setup.

Which marshall? I'm picking up a Bugera 1960, a modded plexi clone. Sounds pretty rad, and I found one for 1000 cheaper than other people are asking for.

If you're not opposed to solid state, ive got a Hiwatt Super Leeds, they're really cheap and sound great. The Orange Crush is really good as well, and Victory makes some cool looking class D amps.

If money isn't an issue, Matamp makes some sub-50w tube heads >.>

            don't laugh

            MG15MS

The Joyo is a great deal from what I've heard

I was looking at the Peavey Invective MH too if I wanna splurge but the price difference is kinda steep

The MG amps are good starter amps! That's the series I got started on. Joyo does good stuff, don't know the ins and outs of that particular model.

It has a Bluetooth input for playing music and backing tracks through and an effects loop and separate EQs for each channel. Sounds pretty great for the price from what I've heard online and the reviews are all pretty good. Peavey make that Invective oohlala amp and a similar less fancy 6505 mini head that seem cool too but they're both pricier. I like that they have built in attenuation settings for going from 20 to 5 or 1 watt though and the Invective is loaded with features.

...it's also like $500 resale at the cheapest I could find and I've seen the Joyo for $99

Just a minor mental breakdown today lea-breakdown pretty sure it's because I didn't eat much and got really poor sleep.

But it was a good day, spent a bunch of time doing woodwork with my dad. He was sad when we were done, kinda sweet. So we sat in his garden rocking chairs and drank a beer and chatted. Going to remember this day for that.
