    When they probe for pain points and decide it's a good pain point to be the textbook definition of a transphobe, that is: somebody who denies trans people the right of gender self determination, they're not actually probing, they're just fascist scum who've settled on which marginalized group among us to attack first.

      Yeah, but what I mean is there are 1000 ways to be fascist scum, most of which we can brush off and dunk back on, but occasionally they'll land a hit that actually causes some distress. The feelings of distress are valid but I wanted to emphasize that doesn't make the bastards point valid.

        it's that it's coming from an instance whose raison de etre is to build a safe space for trans people. it's not why is this person a fascist -- it's why is this even coming from this instance.
