No but one of my favorite things ever was getting bigots votekicked from Mordhau for spamming nazi shit.
Oh it definitely attracts a lot of deus vult nerds but also has good people too and a fair few leftists.
Imagine having a raging hardon for dressing up in tin can cosplay and dying of long stick through eyesocket before you get within striking distance
I was officer of a WoW guild and actively tried to make it more "classless" as in sticking up for the bottom tier players who never got loot and trying to get voting instituted for guild issues. The whiny players at the top all expected special treatment and the raid leader wanted everything done a very specific way that was really sucking the fun out of it for everyone. It didn't go great. I probably could have pulled it off if I knew more about the raids and was able to guide them better but I didn't.
Most of my gamer friends are apolitical centrists or w/e you want to call it with some reactionary views that I try hard to push back on if they arise.
I’m about to start raiding in WoW with said long time friends plus some new people.
They all know I’m a leftist and I try to goad them into calling me a commie. I plan on spamming leftist memes in Discord when the guild gets more established. Should be a fun time since I know the GM/officers won’t kick me.
I probably got kicked from the 4chan clan chat on runescape a couple times cuz I’d spam shit about mayocide in the chat
There was actually like one communist in there at one point who would spam shit about Marxism and I’d join in with him, also there was some guy with dorner in his name, can’t remember what it exactly was. I never really spent much time in there, I basically only stayed in there to piss people off
Not outright, but I did stop getting invitations from the group leader. Apolitical buddy of mine (who basically just voted, but came to me for who to vote for) kept me in the loop so I could stay involved, lol.
