Even though the scale of the atrocities were bigger in the designated extermination camps in Poland, there were West german camps like Dachau where tens of thousands of murders took place. You don't put gas chambers in a "work camp".

The Soviets did find all the extermination camps. The Soviets liberated the extermination camps. The Soviets brought an end to the holocaust.
