I can't be the only one that finds thongs and bikinis boring and less sexy than, say, nice tight jeans or a cute sweater.

I subscribe to the theory that trying to make something sexy immediately makes it unsexy

I think I conditionally subscribe to that theory too.

Word. We're right back to simulation and simulacra. Does someone actually carry a raw storm of deific sexual energy wherever they go, or have they been clad in hollow symbols of sexuality that were once daring, titilating, challenging, but are now empty of all that?

It's why I like the red carpet trend of sheer tops where your nipples can be seen so much. Its actually someone risque and confrontational after decades of barely there might as well be lingerie red carpet dresses. There's actually still something transgressive about your nipples being visible in public and peopleare actually playing with norms and expectations again, just a little bit. I'm hoping we get a trend towards, like, super baroque elaborate embroidered gowns but oh look, there's a nipple! Because the contrast between highly ornate, complex clothes and "nudity" would be delightful.

I wholeheartedly support that fashion trend though with present hog culture as it is I'd also advise bringing pepper spray as an accessory for those that wear it.

Word. Maybe Chapelle Roan will kick off a renassiance of women wearing bespoke armor, that'd be cool and very relevant.
