Something that definitely never happens and something that definitely shouldn't.
I usually see the criticism that it'll strengthen political parties because you'll be less able to vote for specific candidates. These people then admit that they don't care about anything other than which party the candidates belong to if pressed.
Ya it's a bit wacky. They really just seem to be making shit up and hoping that will confuse the voters. You wouldn't want to weaken the Democratic party at a time like this would you???? That's basically trumpism.
