The situation is very difficult in Gaza, especially in northern Gaza. Death is everywhere. Bodies do not stop in the streets. Anyone who leaves their home is killed. Hours ago, a residential square in Beit Lahia was bombed. More than 100 dead. Jabalia has been under siege for 15 days. There is no there. Food, no water, and it is forbidden for anyone to go out to the street. People are waiting for their death there, and the massacres do not stop. People are there under the rubble. There is no one to save them and get them out. I swear to you, there are hundreds of dead in Jabalia since yesterday, and we have lost contact with my relatives there since yesterday.

it's my hope that the government response to the hurricane has helped to wake a lot of people up to the real priorities of the society we live in and the necessity to build something better.

it is foolish to be spending so much money on murder when there are so many people struggling to survive. what kind of society prizes dominating its enemies over care for its vulnerable?

most people understand how wrong that is, it's just that opposing that system takes energy most people don't have/want to spend. I'm trying desperately to get more people to oppose it, it's just a very hard sell because so many people I know are relatively comfortable.

really appreciate your presence here so much ❤️ it's gotta be hard talking to us, but I am grateful that you're making the effort.
