    I agree with you and the other poster that there may be unknown additional side effects, even at the relatively low levels that are used to protect teeth, especially children's teeth, from cavities and toothy decay.

    It's unfortunate that that line of inquiry has more often than not been bad-faith reactionary chud shit, like antivax movements are and with similar overlap. Some vaccines do have known side effects, but it's messy to even talk about it because of the chud factor.

      Yeah thats the thing about anti-science behavior not only is it harmful directly but it has indirect effects of making it harder to actually approach things from a proper scientific perspective. Since we should honestly be skeptical of everything, but "skepticism" has been high jacked by these reactionary assholes who use the word to mean "i just dont believe anything scientists say"

        More often than not "debunked" tends to mean "no, I don't like that and I found a Youtuber that agrees with me," and that sucks.
