Florida has a rule that ballot measures need to hit a 60/40 mark in order to get passed.
We voted for it. On a ballot initiative. One that got passed on 57% of the vote.
Cons are railing against weed because it will bring crime and liberals now
so many cons smoke and eat edibles bc of the medical cards. definitely a politics of "I've got mine" which I think should be the state's motto
the right to abobos passed in AZ, even though most voted for Trump. it took 800,000 signatures to get it on the ballot. there were also multiple attempts to block voter propositions.
