Failure to recognize the reasoning behind these conditions is on them.

My doomerism is because I know this system is going to kill us all, and i understand why. Their doomerism is because Orange Man makes them feel bad.

    We are not the same.

I know this system is going to kill us all, and i understand why

      yea

It is hard to drag myself past that sometimes. I was (very) briefly amused by the result, than immediately dampened my own mood by realizing what was to come. Liberals will purge anyone left of Cheney from their party while screaming that their scorn is what cost Kadolf the election, conservatives will be even more emboldened, and things will get worse. Of course, it is roughly the same as if the result was inverted; conservatives would cry about liberals cheating and get more openly fascist, and liberals would be smugly purging leftists with the remark of "we don't need you".

Thats not true, the dems gonna join hamas and go full BLM 2.0, now where their solidarity is worth nothing, cause they can't do nothing.

I allow leftists to be doomers because we understand the scope of things but liberals falling into despair over Trump using the wrong salad fork at dinner with the king of england making the USA look bad I have no sympathy over that brunch shit.

Leftists should be allowed to be doomers because they have the democrats to rely on to systematically stop fascism.

"Welp... here goes nothing.... fuck me" is a reasonable sentiment from people who recognize they have to overcome 98% of the American political apparatus to even get liberals to listen to their well sourced opinion.

Despair is typical of those who do not understand the causes of evil, see no way out, and are incapable of struggle. The modern industrial proletariat does not belong to the category of such classes.

Libs (mostly of the proletarian type or even labor aristocrat) will have to be convinced away from the hill they're laying upon; that their social class position and support of Capitalism is unsustainable as the system itself, and that our alternative is better, even if it means letting go off their treats

Right now, if before was the ripest time, now is the 2nd-ripest time, since proletarianization and other forms of disenfranchisement is on the rise...

Unless they're too embedded onto Capitalism, or are a capitalists themselves, which in that case.... shrug-outta-hecks bienvenue au diable

I agree. Sentiment I'm seeing in my circles is rather than blaming Bernie bros, college kids or (insert minority here), they are instead focusing on how so many people voted for Trump and that they live in a fascist nation. Which is honestly a great step for a lot of them, but it needs to be tempered with something else or, like you say, they're gonna become doomers (or forget about it and go to brunch this weekend).

Less people voted for Trump than last time.

Anybody attributing this to anything other than democrats failing to do anything that would make people wnat to vote for them is intentionally missing the point.

and that they live in a fascist nation

I've seen this exchange like 10 times today:

Fascist: Democrats shouldn't be calling people fascist/racist/sexist/etc. just because they disagree.

Lib: But Trump [literally whatever Trump said this week and every week before this week]

Fascist: See? That's what I'm talking about.

I'd be really embarrassed to be this late to understanding the inherit fascism in the US unless I was a middle schooler or something.
