Sinn Fein completely blew their moment by spending energy legitimising the "conversation around immigration" because they are too cowardly liberals to just disavow the whole thing as a distraction that benefits the hegemonic power group as well as the new fascists. if they had just banged the drum about housing for the last 2 years they would have won. as it stands I probably won't even vote for them and it's likely they will never ever take power now.
