Pretty good. I used to think you were a bit grating and overbearing with your whole "banning transphobes and yelling at people they have to educate themselves about transness" thing, and then I recently went back and looked at old strugglesessions and suddenly
Apart from that I'm personally doing better than ever. I've got the best apartment I've ever had, I'm exercising regularly and I live right next to a deluxe fancy bakery that doesn't lock its' dumpster, so I've got sourdough bread and cinnamon buns out the wazoo.
Your decisions at the beginning really helped shape this site's culture into what it is now in the best possible way. Like Stalin, after your departure a pile of rubbish was heaped on your grave, but the wind of History sooner or later swept it away without mercy.
That day was honestly so glorious. Still one of my favourite memories of this site. Waking up, seeing that anybody who upvoted transphobic shit got the boot, my goodness what a purge. So beautiful.
I really do mean that I get it now though. Having re-read some of those thread (and for anyone curious I made a compilation post) made me realise what I didn't see back then, because I used to stay out of all those discussions. People were frustratingly obtuse, and that's being generous. I definitely would have done the same, had I been in your spot. I can relate to being medicated and then looking back at previous behaviour too though, it's... it's an experience for sure.
Looking forward to experiencing your community organising.
Oh it's not just dumpster bread. They make this weird caramelized double croissant-thing. It's like crack cocaine. I'm giving out so many baked goods, partially because of course I do, but mainly to avoid clogging my arteries.
I definitely was very overbearing but not without good reason.
Thank you very much, sincerely, your efforts are part of the reason why hexbear is one of the only usable deep internet sites due to how much of a plague transphobia is, even on supposedly "leftist" sites.

Banning transphobes is based as hell actually, instantly makes this one of the only good places on the internet.
