Increased server hosting costs have officially hit Hexbear, as admins had to make the difficult decision to close these popular communities in an effort to reduce the traffic the site is experiencing to bring costs back into post inflationary alignment. It was a necessary step in keeping Hexbear in the green. Sorry folks shoulda voted blue when you had the chance!

No joke, I have had a feeling that the decision to limit no/low effort image posts is to reduce costs, I would think admins wouldn't hide that fact though because if they stated that as a reason it would serve as a fundraising drive.
