It's true, I'm a part of the problem. At least I'm not the whole problem.
Most people that post about Reddit are newcomers that are frustrated with the old platform and just want to vent. Posts like that are often their first ones: you should just let them vent a little and welcome them, instead of stifling them immediatly.
That's how you get a steady flow of new users.I see this as an absolut win. Why? Because people who transists over time has the old rotten platform and their anger/reasons of migrating to us at their minds.
No posts about Elon and fuckspez, means no transition anymore.
Lemmy sometimes feels like cult. Yes, I am here because Reddit went to shit. Yes, I want Reddit alternative, but being made fun of people who want it to be like Reddit is just ridiculous.
