    freaky pronoun brigade

The most begrudging, perfunctory press of the Y key in human history

Well Kazin, I'd love to explain to you what epitets I use for right wingers, but then the FBI would come pay me a visit.

Also, my favorite kind of person "What if we imagined a left without any ideals at all?"

Right! Just believe in nothing and be a completely self interested homo economicus who fills exactly the social role I want you to!

One problem with this "public figure" based split of comms is that I have no fucking clue who these alleged "public figures" are.

Slightly off topic, but I cannot recommend enough Malcolm Harris's book Palo Alto: A History of California, Capitalism, and the World, if you're interested in tech at all. I'm almost done with the book and it's sooo good. He does an excellent job of writing a compelling narrative relating to the history of silicon valley, and to be honest it's been a real page turner despite being a dense history book.

No, more like shitlib with atlanticist aesthetics. This + some nation articles say: leftist boomers/gen-x are not okay, their socdemery is millimeter thick, their comfy tenure is miles deep

(im scared to learn what angela davis thinks, ngl)

I want to exterminate the brutes and put all the ***s in the closet, but I do think socialism is a neat idea as long as its only for me. Oh also unhoused people, wood chipper, compost? Maybe?

Such a shame there's no word for this completely new idea.

Dissent Magazine, I only checked them out once, the main article on their front page was about the fall of the Eastern bloc. Wasn't familiar with the author, so I googled her name. The first hit was to her profile on the NED page lol. Never gonna check Dissent Magazine again, they are what some term the "Compatible Left". Either directly funded by CIA, or serves the purpose of the US State Department.
