Don't get me started on brawling with transphobes and nazis. I LOVE MY TRANS COMRADES

Kawada is my favourite of the four pillars, but i love the vibe Misawa has in this match.
Yeah, vhs tape trading of mostly japanese death matches. Some czw and iwa mid-south stuff too. Have a tape collection of over 300 comps and shows from over the years.
That's so cool, I've always wanted to get into collecting VHS horror, just never got to it. I still have all my tapes from childhood, but nothing crazy there.
Oh yeah, i have a decent selection of horror and action in my collection. I think i'm at the point of my old movie rental spot when it comes to pure selection. I also own abut 15 vcr's, mostly to cannibalize but quite a few still work.
Lol, I think I'm vicariously living your tape collecting hobby through archive.org Tape Vaults. I don't have much space for collecting at the moment, so I have a CRT monitor set up in the corner of my desk and I just feed old ripped tapes to it throughout the day for background. It's neat watching taped news broadcasts
I'm so thankful old technology is user serviceable. I have AM radios from the 1920's that work better than new in a lot of cases
One of my favourite collections came from a news station down in new orleans from the early 80s, so i get you! There's something weirdly comforting about old commercials and shows, even though i didn't live through it. Might just be the nostalgia from my parents tape collection, where they would tape over soaps and shows to record public access movies, so you end up with this weird mix of both.
Comrade PaulSmackage, you've been a wonderful contributor to hexbear, we're very glad to have you friend!
I'm not always the most eloquent, nor the most knowledgeable, but this site has made an impact on my life that i haven't experienced since the 00's. It might be the best place i've been a regular at for a long time.
