Just in case any of the bureaucrats are unfamiliar to utilizing mod powers, it's an exciting new dawn of opportunities here for you!
Generally speaking the main rule of main is an arbitrary rule where it can get arbitrarily enforced for arbitrary reasons by arbitrary people.
Now does this mean we go hog wild and start removing everything under the sun that is mainless?
Not really, no. We did that in the beginning when we came up with the main rule and made a few people mad for varying reasons. Also a few times the rule was applied a bit tonelessly to more ernest posts where people were having more serious conversations. That was a time we can call "The big whoopsies". Mainly because the main comm was just opened and new traffic back to main was trickling back in, but hitting everything with the silly clown hammer known as the "remove comment" button kinda pressed down on it and persuaded people to use the imposter main comm "chapotraphouse" over the one true main.
Thus the arbitrary rule was born.
So since there's like maybe 10+ people running around in the Bureaucracy account currently, it means you're all probably going to have to be more careful and sparing with using your God and Anime granted powers. So here's some guideline suggestions:
First: Ex post facto! I suggest not going on a crusade through the post history of main and removing everything in your path. That'll be a real pain that I'll have to clean up. Also it'll clog up the mod log, so please don't.
Second: serious posts on should be left alone. Pretty self-explanatory I think.
Third: if you're wondering whether or not something should get the NO MAIN! Treatment, don't really know how you figured it out, but communicate among yourselves and try to come to some kind of collective decision.
Fourth: maybe to play into the bit, some of you can make posts on main then comment on it, then "NO MAIN!" yourselves.
Noooo make us main mods you know it would be funny just for an hour or so, what's the worst that could happen? And it would help ease tensions. I promise not to ban anyone
we should become mods of !dredge_tank@hexbear.net for like a day and than it shall be closed again once and for all. I just think it would lead to interesting consequences.
Once you combine all of our brains, we have like the biggest brain of all time. Who better than us to judge which post is fit for main and which one is not !
Remember to put "Main" in your post titles!

Can't really think of much more. Have fun!
Tricked you into making an effortpost
ya got it boss
Hold up I got bamboozled. I thought you got made into mods on main!
Nevermind anything I said, run your own show
Noooo make us main mods you know it would be funny just for an hour or so, what's the worst that could happen? And it would help ease tensions. I promise not to ban anyone
It would be extremely funny. The bit would go down in the history of the website. Our story would still be told in a hundred years !
I don't
Edit: Actually we do
This comm was named "main" for a couple of hours
It's easy to name the comm anything you want. It can be whatever we want it to be, what do we want the comm to be called?
I called it BUTTocracy and people got mad :butt:
It was our better nature prevailing
Imagine of we got made into mod on main :doggirl-smug:
I'd be tempted to if I wasn't expressly told to not fool around anymore.
@CARCOSA@hexbear.net Bureaucrat demands we become mods of c/main, or at least one of the locked comms or something!
we should become mods of !dredge_tank@hexbear.net for like a day and than it shall be closed again once and for all. I just think it would lead to interesting consequences.
Reopen main and give it to us. Give us all the closed the comms, we swear to be responsible with them
How responsible :doggirl-happy:
good pet
Who is better to run main than us?
Once you combine all of our brains, we have like the biggest brain of all time. Who better than us to judge which post is fit for main and which one is not !
No more cats on main, only puppies
:c
