My favorite historic events / socialist models are: Yugoslavism, Maoism, Leninism, Agrarian Burkina Faso's socialism and the Movimiento Liberación Nacional Tupamaros (Revolutionary Guerrilla in my Country).

    I don't know much about recent shoegaze/heavygaze releases, but i recommend Julie, Glare, Quannic and Weatherday (those are the most recent artists that i know).

    Albums that i like:

    The Weatherday's "Come In" album, "You're Lying All Over Me" from Dinosaur Jr, Unwound's "repetition.", Whirr's "Distressor", Sweet Trip's "Velocity:Design:Comfort", Dynamo from Soda Stereo and Eyedazzler from Alisson's Halo.
