Sorry for the ostensibly manic rant, I just cannot stop thinking about how I spend all of my waking hours touching a fucking computer for a company I do not care about then go home to a different computer because my hometown is a land of crumbling asphalt, strip malls and chain restaurants.

There’s gotta be a lot more out there like me unfortunately, especially when you add in the fact that finding anything to do outside is so hard. I’ve genuinely gotten mocked before for saying that the “pave paradise and put up a parking lot” line from big yellow taxi was someone’s interpretation of reality.
