I liked that it was a transparent critique of capitalism...but it encourages you to unite the nice liberals and anarchists on the second planet and turn off power to the co-op on the first planet for the best ending so...meh? It was better than most things at critiquing work culture and advertising but its so hamfisted and lacks focus, and in the end you don't bring about an anarchic or socialist state. New Vegas was a better critique of current America imo. Still, I enjoyed my time with it, 6.5/10.

i tried it without buying and im happy i did

the combat was cluncky for me,

the quest werent any special(minus the helping of your comrade with their love, that was great)

the map was an open world with long wait times worse combination ever ald also the map wasnt much detailed i felt that that were repeating so much shapes that i didnt felt immersive at all

I found it enjoyable if lightweight. I was pleased it was relatively short and didn't outstay it's welcome. A few of the characters I really liked, but the actual driving narrative felt very throwaway. I dug the more colourful planets but honestly I don't know how much more milage is left in that cartoony retro-future aesthetic more generally.

Obviously its politics were a bit better than most games, but again, pretty lightweight.

I think the problem with all these types of games is that usually you just help one faction 'win' or come out on top. Their ideologies are more like banners to attach your self to and support as their ascendency (or not) never really alters the world that much. You don't get to experience it in any meaningful way.

The worst of fallout 3 plus the worst of knights of the old republic

That said I liked the art style and some of the characters

Mostly cause It was just boring and unmemorable. The combat was really cookie cutter, there's basically only a dozen enemies, with some palette swaps and then even less weapon and skill variety. Your companions are alright but nothing really exceptional, save the one that got the most obvious love and attention (which is also the one name I remember, Parvati) and I hated using their skills because the vignette scene that plays just straight sucks and takes you out of the flow of combat. The story was decent but never seemed to really coalesce into anything tangible, I never felt like any of the NPC's had a real life in that universe outside their little zone, and then it seems to just end. The game is overall frontloaded with the good stuff and then it really peters out towards the middle.

Huge disappointment. It was an endless series of pointless fetch quests. It was pretty to look at but I feel like they started with a fantastic idea for a game and then just didn’t follow through.

It was alright, but a huge disappointment since I was hoping for something close to New Vegas (basically my favorite game). I liked the companions. Might play the DLC later on
