My predictions following the discourse of storm Shadow missiles
✅ Ukraine hits a bunch of targets that Russia has largely evacuated ahead of this news thanks to the massive press coverage of these weapons. If they're lucky they strike a few useful targets.
✅ Russia retaliates with demonstration of superior military industry/stockpiles.
✅ Ukraine continues to lose the war. Can't maintain the ground and/or stockpiles to continue "deep strikes"
I expect this is the most likely scenario as well. The worrying part is that Russia may choose to hit the UK or France as they already said they would see perfectly justified doing. At that point things could escalate very quickly.

I will not cry because when it will happen, their are only 2 outcomes:
- Russia is demilitarize so fast by NATO countries that the country will not be able to do much (that outcome has even been told by Putin himself in 2023 as the reason Russia has no chance against NATO)
- Both countries use their nuke and we will be all dead in a beautiful bang :)

That is because Russians are not white cishet capitalist men.
Russians are just the right amount of not European to be othered, but still white enough for the racism to be broadly acceptable.
like you said, as soon as Russia retaliates on any NATO country and the US cuts and runs, the bluster will crumble and they'll be hyperventilating into a paper bag asking "how could this happen??!?!?!"

Post WW1 certainly was a time of great political upheaval in Europe, seems like we might get an electric boogaloo moment at the rate things are going.
Movie nights wie Mao and Stalin. Finally getting a taste of uncle Ho's cooking.
I tend not to take them too seriously, I just kind of view this as light comedy. It's also interesting to step out of your own bubble to see what happens in these alternate realities other people inhabit.
