Going to start a tally for how often someone says DEI or woke when they really mean lack of funding. Nobody makes any money if you clean the rust off just buy a new one
it's the US navy, the problem aint lack of funding. there's more than enough funding to keep the ships painted. i assume it gets stolen.
I say we ought to start responding to these people in equally absurd ways.

The problem with that is that many of them are immune to irony. They'll run with the most absurd scenarios if they confirm their hateful prejudices. For example, the whole migrants eating pets thing.
Not to mention that giving chuds more reasons to be mad at marginalized people just puts marginalized peoples in danger of having one of the chuds exact stochastic violence on them
Oh of course but you have to make it look like they’re out of touch with the fabric of reality in hopes that someone out there will realize they need to think about their thoughts
It will most likely fail and the only thing that will save people is mass re-education

As a technical side note to show how stupid this person is, the Green Bay is based out of San Diego, and common practice is to paint the sides in Pearl Harbor so it looks good when it arrives in its home port after a deployment. Doing this work in port is safer and more effective, as you can use a boom lift to have a stable platform and not fall to your death, and actually remove the rust instead of just painting over it.
